Public bug reported: Hello there, I would like to ask for the removal of pcs 0.11.9-1ubuntu1 from -proposed, for the following reasons:
- this version depends on ruby-rack version 3 to work, and ruby-rack is still 2.2.7 in the archive. ruby-rack 3.1.9 is in -proposed but will most likely be merged in the next cycle, due to current problems with dependencies. - pcs version 0.11.7-2ubuntu2, which is in the archive, needs a bump removing the most recent patch, and bringing back the ruby-json dependency. This can be sorted out in the 25.04 cycle, after the beta freeze, but the version number will be lower than the one currently in -proposed. - pcs version 0.11.9-1ubuntu1 will most probably never migrate anyway, as debian has version 0.12.0-1 in sid - which will be the one to be merged next cycle. Everything is working in the archive in the current state, so there is no urgency for this removal to happen. However, it would be interesting to have this before the final freeze so we could fix the missing dependency in the current pcs, to avoid problems in the future (and to avoid the cycle being closed and needing an SRU to fix it). ** Affects: pcs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2103795 Title: Please remove version 0.11.9-1ubuntu1 from -proposed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcs/+bug/2103795/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
