thomas-sthlm : there are a couple points 1. the missing cockpit-ha-cluster needs packaged and included. if i'm understanding the Debian project side of cockpit, the plugins are packaged separately and either recommended or required. I think a first step will be getting cockpit-ha-cluster packaged into Debian 2. the choice to deprecate pcsd web gui was made in the upstream project, and debian didn't follow. the `wishlist` item has more to do with `cockpit` support as the "official" Web UI for `pcs`. Ubuntu hasn't made that determination 3. it looks like `pcs` in Debian @ 0.12.0 is adding the optional `--enable-webgui`. I have not checked the final artifacts from that yet. 4. from a general standpoint, while it is a functional change, it was not deemed a regression. Putting it on wishlist was making it bubble up for next release to make an official determination of supporting `cock;it`. But with `pcs=0.12.0` in Debian taking it, QQ 25.10 will have the component added back in. It's post feature-freeze, so it may not be an easy FFe to roll to `pcs=0.12.0` since 0.11.9 is still in plucky proposed. 5. `pcs` is currently caught up in issues with `ruby-rack` that we're also fighting through. Before we can get 0.12.0 merged, we need to get that all sorted out.
Sorry for a making it seem like we weren't looking into things, it's been a lot of catching up to upstream changes and allocating time to choosing an official tool (which Debian also hadn't done yet). `cockpit` is still wishlisted for us to make a determination on if it is a better solution -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2083589 Title: cockpit doesn't include plugin for ha-cluster To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cockpit/+bug/2083589/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
