Thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. Could you please boot into a Ubuntu kernel (not third party kernel) and execute the following command only once, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal:
$ apport-collect 2098131 Besides, 92 is already the highest UCODE_API supported by 6.11 kernels, is it possible for you to install newer kernels (from https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/) and download -94/-96 ucode from https://web.git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux- firmware.git/tree/ for a test? We have also backport-iwlwifi-dkms/plucky with a newer version that supports -96 ucode, but its usage is never recommended, and it should only serve as a way to find out the possible solution before an official kernel support. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2098131 Title: iwlwifi Microcode SW error and restart issue on Ubuntu 24.04/24.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2098131/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
