Alright, I had help enabling libdisplay-info (and edid-decode, its dep) for i386, but that didn't actually fix the issue with weston as it was only one of the missing dependencies for weston.
It's also missing freerdp3-dev, and some test builds on my machine led me to also enable pkcs11-helper and uriparser.
