Hello Juerg, thank you for following up on the issue! I did not get to trying what you asked, but I see you marked the issue as invalid because Intel BE200 requires kernel 6.11. Can you point us to a resource confirming that? If you received a statement from Intel privately, would you be able to share it verbatim? It could be interesting to others too, coming across this issue. I didn't find any official statement from Intel.
Thanks also for immediately pointing out the correct Ubuntu release to use! We are going to evaluate a migration. Is the kernel lifecycle page out of date by any chance https://ubuntu.com/kernel/lifecycle ? It seems to indicate that noble is still on 6.8 HWE. And in packages it looks like amd64 has 6.11 and other platforms have 6.8. https://packages.ubuntu.com/noble/linux-generic-hwe-24.04 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2100280 Title: invalid opcode and "Microcode SW error detected" in iwlwifi during extended WiFi stress test may trigger oom To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/backport-iwlwifi-dkms/+bug/2100280/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
