Ubuntu 7.10, Evince 2.20.1 Text selection for a PDF document (e.g.: http://www.zhenxiao.com/iptv2006/Camera_Ready/mediagrid.pdf) doesn't work properly. I can't select specific parts of the text nor all, although a unexpected selection is highlighted.
