The RTL8191SU uses the r8712u kernel module, so I'm not sure how that's related to the error. It looks like the module and firmware load okay, but the USB device disconnects. Have you tried a different USB port?
As for the error itself - "/usr/sbin/update-secureboot-policy: 44: printf: printf: I/O error" This looks like a problem with update-secureboot-policy (shim-signed package) rather than a problem with r8168-dkms -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2100800 Title: package r8168-dkms 8.053.00-2 failed to install/upgrade: el subproceso instalado paquete r8168-dkms script post-installation devolvió el código de salida de error 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/r8168/+bug/2100800/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
