I spoke to Rodrigo, and this is already fixed in the cinder package that's currently in noble-proposed (for bug 2097425). I guess the point release does not include a mention to this bug in the changelog, so we'll have to update this one manually. "Fix Committed" seems to be appropriate (and I see Rodrigo already changed it, thanks!).
