I did some checking to see if we could stop building samba for i386
entirely. There are some issues:

- sssd still builds on i386, and it build-depends on bin:libldb-dev (from
src:samba)
- bin:libnss-winbind is seeded[1] on i386 on purpose, together with other
libnss packages for other stacks
- vlc build-depends on libsmbclient-dev
- cifs-utils build-depends on libwbclient-dev

So we would have to:
a) remove libnss-winbind from the i386 seed
b) stop building sssd for i386 (rdeps checked in comment #2)
c) stop building vlc for i386 (rdeps need checking)
d) stop building cifs-utils for i386 (rdeps need checking)
