I think I need to understand a bit more about the relationship between this and LP: #2099655.
Are CV3 and CV3 Plus two different models of similar hardware? It seems (upstream at least) that there are two versions of the same package (brcm_linux_fp): 5.x and 6.x. However, it appears you wish to package these two different versions as two different source packages? While this is doable, we'd typically have something like libfprint-foo-5 and libfprint-foo-6. Would I be right in assuming that the CV3 is only supported on the 5.x version and the CV3 Plus is only supported on the 6.x version? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2099289 Title: [needs-packaging] libfprint-2-tod1-broadcom-cv3plus To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/2099289/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
