Public bug reported: Hi, I think can be good to have Ubuntu specific changes for all new uploads that remove a package with some Debian specific things with the Ubuntu one. Remove of desktop-base was already done on previous Ubuntu upload, but I think is "incomplete". So I tried a more complete one preparing Ubuntu 24.04 installation for my workstation (that I use starting from a minimal install).
