Public bug reported: I'm using Linux Mint 22.1. Recently xserver-xorg-input-libinput was upgraded to 1.4.0. This caused the mouse cursor to move on its own, generally to a corner.
My laptop is Portege Z30-C PT263E. When using 1.4.0, if I disabled the stick using: > xinput set-prop <id> "Device Enabled" 0 the problem stopped. This disables the stick (which I don't mind) but it also disables the two buttons above the touchpad (which I use) I've gone back to 1.2.1-1 and this has fixed the problem. I've re- enabled the stick. Please let me know if you need any more info. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-libinput (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2099802 Title: Enabling AlpsPS/2 DualPoint Stick moves cursor towards corner To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-input-libinput/+bug/2099802/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
