Presently running Thunderbird 128.6.0esr (64-bit) on a Fedora 41 installation, on top of Gnome 47 / Wayland. Different (quite more modern) hardware than with my previous report #17.
I am still seeing quite heavy CPU load spiking across all 16 cores when moving the mouse cursor along the e-mail list.
