I guess this confusion comes from the fact that the module lib is renamed, libdbparser.so does not exist anymore, it is called the correlation module and lives now in the libcorrelation.so lib.
I think this is not reflected currently correctly in https://github.com/gcsideal/syslog-ng- debian/commit/4dd94c61f1ae9600725e1958a9add038618c6620 It must have been renamed instead of removed. I'll create a PR for this on github. Unfortunately, the https://github.com/balabit/syslog-ng- debian/blob/bad418ff567955610a14652fdcb01c83fc772961/debian/syslog-ng- core.install#L16 is not maintained for years. I suggest using the maintained stable and nightly syslog-ng repositories https://github.com/syslog-ng/syslog- ng/blob/master/README.md#debianubuntu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2097303 Title: The correlation module (db-parser) is missing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/syslog-ng/+bug/2097303/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
