I guess this confusion comes from the fact that the module lib is
renamed, libdbparser.so does not exist anymore, it is called the
correlation module and lives now in the libcorrelation.so lib.

I think this is not reflected currently correctly in

It must have been renamed instead of removed.

I'll create a PR for this on github.

Unfortunately, the https://github.com/balabit/syslog-ng-
debian/blob/bad418ff567955610a14652fdcb01c83fc772961/debian/syslog-ng-
core.install#L16 is not maintained for years.

I suggest using the maintained stable and nightly syslog-ng repositories
