Yeah man, the same problem here... I'm using three kernels on a Gutsy Gibbon 'clean' installation:
2.6.20-16 (feisty) 2.6.22-14 (standard) 2.6.24-3 (from hardy) I was using the nvidia driver 100.14xxx, but now i'm using the newest one (169.07.xxx), and having the same problem... just the kernels make some difference: I'm using the Firefox 2.0.11, Ubufox, everything "clean": Using the 2.6.20, the firefox crashes after one or two videos. Using the 2.6.22, it crashes as 2.6.20, but when i force it to quit and open again, it works very well(not always, sometimes i have to repeat the proccess). Using the 2.6.24, no crashes at all, but i'd just used it a little. I need to use the kernel 2.6.20, cause my modem's driver don't work with new ones, just up to 2.6.22 :(.
