Hi All https://www.reddit.com/r/Ubuntu/comments/zh4csz/2204_usb_suddenly_stopped_working/ I have added my comments here as below
Hi There were no update involved as far as know I was doing my regular work. I saw same issue yesterday. I am using Ubuntu 22 on HP Zbook. My USB port suddenly stopped working and were unable to work after multiple restart. I visited many threads on internet and tried many ways including modifying GRUB, but did not help. Eventually as mentioned in your reply I waited till complete drain of laptop and then restarted and magic happened my USB ports started working. I guess its something like USB device are going in suspend mode and only way to recover is battery drain, even restart or OFF -ON cycle wont work. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1956849 Title: Almost all USB ports suddenly stopped working; unbootable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1956849/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
