Public bug reported: Trying to start Subtitle Composer 0.8.1-2build1 on Kubuntu 24.10, it flashes a window and crashes immediately with exit code 1.
Output in the terminal: $ subtitlecomposer GL API: OpenGL Desktop 4.6 (compiled for OpenGL Desktop) OpenGL version: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 560.35.03 GLSL version: 4.60 NVIDIA Loaded SpeechPlugin "PocketSphinx" from "/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/subtitlecomposer/pocketsphinxasr.so" wp_linux_drm_syncobj_surface_v1#151: error 4: explicit sync is used, but no acquire point is set The Wayland connection experienced a fatal error: Protocol error Full output attached with WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 environment variable set. Running with gdb did not produce a stack trace, but that may be my fault, I am not used to native debugging. ** Affects: subtitlecomposer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Attachment added: "subtitlecomposer_crash.log" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2097601/+attachment/5855529/+files/subtitlecomposer_crash.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2097601 Title: Immediate crash on Wayland To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/subtitlecomposer/+bug/2097601/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
