Can you test the 6.8.0-53 from proposed updates? After upgrading the laptop I described my problem with, the problem seems fixed for me.
I've repeatedly booted to 51, 52 and 53, and currently it looks to me the problem I described actually did exist on both 51 and 52, and gone with 53. So it definitely seems like a regression, but happened already earlier. This is also logical because of the small size of the 52 kernel differences. It is possible my bug is a different one from this, so I filed LP: #2097251. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2094733 Title: External monitor not working after kernel update to 6.8.0-51 on Ubuntu 22.04 (DisplayPort over USB-C) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2094733/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
