Public bug reported:
It might possibly be a hardware problem on my desktop system, but here
we go:
After recent package updates from Ubuntu Noble repository mouse pointer
started disappearing as soon as I launch an app or when an app like
kitty or qemu hides the mouse pointer, the mouse pointer never get
visible again, they stayed invisible until I relaunch sway
The trick that is working for my system is launching sway with the
environmental variable `WLR_NO_HARDWARE_CURSORS=1`
When firefox launches the mouse pointer stayed there until I move the
mouse pointer. when Joplin.AppImage launched the mouse pointer gets
invisible as soon as joplin starts drawing its own window
Thank you.
