Public bug reported: The Trac Ubuntu default installation does not install the jquery- ui-i18n.js, and installing libs-jquery-i18 package and symlinking to /usr/lib/Python3/dist_packages/trac/htdocs/js/jquery-ui-i18n.js will not solve the problem. The jquery-ui-i18n.js HAS to come from Trac. The datepicker is used in Milestone adminsitration, if the admin menu panel is activated.
I contacted the TRAC mailing list for help according to Jun Omae: "The jquery-ui-i18n.js file is originally provided by Trac and the same file doesn't exist in the other packages. So that, it is unable to symlink to a file in other packages. Please report to Ubuntu package maintainer of the trac. This problem exist on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
