Public bug reported:
Attaching a new HP laserjet 10XX with an old firmware and try to print.
The printer will seem to work, it will be detected and seem to work, but
will not start printing. After updating a new firmware the problem is
gone. See for instance

Seems to be a bug in at least feisty and gusty.
