Public bug reported: When exporting to PDF from LibreOffice ghost temporary files are left on the desktop. They are un-removable and do not show up in file browsers nor in terminal.
Right clicking on the desktop and selecting delete, or move to trash, results in a gray popup saying "Empty document 0 B" and the file just remains. Selecting Refresh on the desktop does not clear them either. Rebooting the PC clears them from the desktop. Ubuntu 24.04 Ubuntu Plasma desktop environment from the Ubuntu 24.04 repository LibreOffice 24.2 from Ubuntu 24.04 repository I haven't tried an instal from the .deb packages on the LibreOffice site, nor have I tried any other desktop environments. ** Affects: gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-ng (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2093272 Title: undeletable ghost files left on desktop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell-extension-desktop-icons-ng/+bug/2093272/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
