Public bug reported: I have a dlink-M30 router with WPA2/WPA3 for security setting. I need to keep this setting as WPA2/WPA3 insteadof WPA3 only because I have some old machines.
My Raspberry Pi 5 with Ubuntu 24.10 can only connect to my home wifi if the wii security setting is set to WPA/WPA2 Personal. If the security setting is WPA3 the Raspberry Pi 5 will just keep trying to connect without success. Password to home wifi is the same in both cases. ** Affects: wifi-radar (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: wifi ** Attachment added: "wifi with WPA3 cannot connet." https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2093008/+attachment/5849462/+files/Screenshot_20250104_163451.png ** Tags added: wifi -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2093008 Title: wifi cannot connect with WPA3 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wifi-radar/+bug/2093008/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
