Public bug reported: Bug Description Issue: After upgrading to Linux kernel 6.12.7, my system does not boot properly. It gets stuck at the manufacturer’s logo screen (ASUS) and does not proceed to the login screen or desktop environment.
Steps to Reproduce: Install and build Linux kernel version 6.12.7 from the source. Reboot the system. Observe that the boot process halts at the manufacturer logo screen. What I Expected: The system should boot successfully into kernel 6.12.7. What Happened Instead: The system halts at the ASUS logo screen and does not proceed further. The issue does not occur when booting into a stable kernel (e.g., 6.8.0-51-generic).
