I looked at safu 0.54.1-0ubuntu1~ppa1 from https://launchpad.net/~nemos- team/+archive/ubuntu/archive-target and tried to build it on plucky, but it fails in dh_auto_configure:
``` -- Found Git: /usr/bin/git (found version "2.47.1") -- The C compiler identification is GNU 14.2.0 -- Detecting C compiler ABI info -- Detecting C compiler ABI info - done -- Check for working C compiler: /usr/bin/cc - skipped -- Detecting C compile features -- Detecting C compile features - done fatal: not a git repository (or any of the parent directories): .git CMake Warning at cmake/project.cmake:91 (message): failed to retrive git short commit hash Call Stack (most recent call first): CMakeLists.txt:14 (project_set_version_variables) ``` Looking at the packaging, I saw following things to improve: * the source format should be "3.0 (quilt)" instead of "3.0 (native)" * the long descriptions of the packages are too short. To me and probably a lot of user, it does not explain enough what that library contains. * you could consider adding symbols files for the libraries * there are no autopkgtests for this package -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2069877 Title: [needs-packaging] safu To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2069877/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
