I had an issue regarding to this bug on 24.04 on ZFS fresh install. There is no Ubuntu line on grub menu after the install.
I have to load ubuntu manually with grub2 command line (https://askubuntu.com/q/1225751). After boot, I looked into /etc/grub.d/10_linux_zfs file and add a value on the pretty_name variable on line 406. like `pretty_name="Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS"`. then run `sudo update-grub2` again.
