I have just tested the latest mainline kernel (6.12.3-061203-generic #202412060638 from https://kernel.ubuntu.com/mainline/v6.12.3/) and the issue is *not* present there.
So this really is a downstream bug. I would like to bisect this, but when I run `git clone git://git.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-kernel/ubuntu/+source/linux/+git/noble`, the last commit I see with `git log` is "UBUNTU: Ubuntu-6.8.0-49.49". So that would be the previous, non-broken kernel. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2091565 Title: Crackling and skipping audio via amdgpu HDMI/DP since linux- image-6.8.0-50-generic To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2091565/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
