Thanks for looking into this @diewald (not sure this mention works, though). The CurrentDmesg.txt attachment is indeed the post-incident kernel boot log, to wit the various complaints about file corruption.
Here is the pre-freeze dmesg.0 file, I had a cursory look and saw nothing untoward, but I'm no kernel specialist. I'm going to try the mainline kernel now and see where this leads, and inform in any case. ** Attachment added: "Pre-freeze dmesg.0 file" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2089785/+attachment/5840897/+files/dmesg.0 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2089785 Title: When resuming from sleep, computer sometime freezes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2089785/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
