@enri1985 i don't think this is ever going to be fixed or backported. addid tty is not that big of a deal so you shouldn't be to be afraid of that as the actually fix that they should implement is actaully adding syslog to the tty group :) so it wil not really matter if you are going to do it manually or they do it in the package.
