Actually reading through the merge proposal at https://code.launchpad.net/~rmartin013/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-tegra- defaults/+git/nvidia-tegra-defaults/+merge/472126 it's clear that the changes to address bug #2077978 are not needed in noble or plucky.
So the jammy upload should be a backport of the patch on top of 1.3~22.04.2, not a backport of 1.4.
