Same problem here, except a new install of 24.04.1 but using the previous /home from 22.04. I can only get DNS working by manually adding a DNS entry (e.g. 9.9.9.9) in /etc/systemd/resolved.conf. I've tried doing a --reinstall of the systemd-resolved pkg, makes no difference. Here is output of "resolvectl status" with modified resolved.conf: ------------------------ Global Protocols: -LLMNR -mDNS -DNSOverTLS DNSSEC=no/unsupported resolv.conf mode: stub Current DNS Server: 9.9.9.9 DNS Servers: 9.9.9.9 Link 2 (enp5s0) Current Scopes: DNS Protocols: +DefaultRoute -LLMNR -mDNS -DNSOverTLS DNSSEC=no/unsupported Current DNS Server: 192.168.1.3 DNS Servers: 192.168.1.3 Link 3 (virbr0) Current Scopes: none Protocols: -DefaultRoute -LLMNR -mDNS -DNSOverTLS DNSSEC=no/unsupported ------------------------- The Link2 DNS entry is correct, that should work by itself, and it does/did work before 24.04 (when it was eth0 not enp5s0). However I don't know this systemd-resolved stuff at all. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2055012 Title: When I upgraded from 22.04 to 24.04, DNS resolution went wrong.
