Public bug reported:

If the host reboots during a container image pull, the container image
might end up being corrupted and all containers that use the corrupted
image will be executed unexpectedly.

This bug is noticed by the containerd team and have been provided a fix
in containerd 1.7.14 release.

Github pull request for more information:
https://github.com/containerd/containerd/pull/9401

Containerd release (1.7.14) that includes the fix:
https://github.com/containerd/containerd/pull/9953

Ubuntu Jammy (22.04) only contains containerd with version of 1.7.12 in
the apt repo. Is it possible to upgrade the package version?

Thanks.
