I took a closer look at my system logs, and among the apparmor denied messages and the systemd "scheduled restart job" / "started" messages, there was also this:
Nov 01 04:10:34 computer snapd-desktop-integration.snapd-desktop- integration[1042067]: Content snap command-chain for /snap/snapd- desktop-integration/253/gnome-platform/command-chain/desktop-launch not found: ensure slot is connected This led me to recall that I had removed the gnome-42-2204 snap earlier. (I actually didn't remember the exact name, only that it started with "gnome-42-". Having not found an easy way to find this name in 5 minutes, I went all the way to https://github.com/ubuntu/gnome-sdk to find the branch name.) I reinstalled gnome-42-2204 and the apparmor messages have finally stopped. Actually now I see there are apparmor="STATUS" messages with profile="unconfined" which is a little concerning, but at least it doesn't try to restart every 5 seconds now. Interesting how I was able to remove gnome-42-2204 with no warning or error, or conversely, if I had reinstalled something that required that snap, that it was not automatically reinstalled. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2084099 Title: so many apparmor denied messages To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/snapd/+bug/2084099/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
