Public bug reported:

The basic functionality of the fw tools should be described to an
understandable level in normal man level terms. It should not be
necessary to subsequently run the fw tools with any kind of help
parameters in order to figure out how they work.

Please see to it the man documentation of the fw tools for firmware
updates contain the necessary information to use the tool without any
experimentation with the tool itself.
