Same problem on my Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 4th Gen. since I have upgraded Ubuntu from 22.04 LTS to 24.04.1 LTS. As for comment #14, disabling the TTL chip in the security tab in the BIOS works for me (kernel 6.8.0-47-generic). Thank you André for this tip!
