Also, if I try to start Firefox (or "firefox -safe-mode) in a "console", I get "Floating point exception (core dumped)" After have removed ~/.mozilla, I installed firefox-2.0.0.11 (package tar.gz, then via Ubuntuzilla [ubuntuzilla-4.4.5-0ubuntu1-i386.deb]), : no change. I also returned to the previous version of libcairo2 (1.4.10-1Ubuntu4 [gutsy]): always the crash. I finally searched for a Monaco font, witch could cause the problem: no Monaco font on my system.
