Hello, I'm writing to confirm that this is indeed an issue. Currently Ubuntu toolbox package points to a community image repository that is no longer used. The images there haven't been updated in a while and they don't have any new images (24.04 and new interim releases). The images at quay.io/toolbx-images/ubuntu-toolbox are now removed (https://github.com/toolbx-images/images/issues/135) and Ubuntu pacakge should switch to upstream repository (quay.io/toolbx/ubuntu-toolbox - keeping the built-in upstream default value).
