I have the same problem with time-admin: I click on Unlock and change the time zone then. On the next start of time-admin I see the old time zone again (and the desktop clock does also not switch to the new time zone).
I have to do an ugly sudo dpkg-reconfigure tzdata to change the time zone. ** Summary changed: - [Hardy]you cannot change the settings in Services + [Hardy] You cannot change the settings in Services and Time and Date ** Description changed: Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools You cannot change the settings in Services settings since you are not asked the password when you press the Unlock button and this means that whatever changes you do are not saved and do not take affect. + + Same for Time and Date, see below. -- [Hardy] You cannot change the settings in Services and Time and Date https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/179400 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
