Public bug reported:

When running lgogdownloader on Ubuntu 24.04, I get the following error:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::length_error'
  what():  basic_string::_M_replace
Aborted (core dumped)

This appears to be acknowledged by lgogdownloader in:
https://github.com/Sude-/lgogdownloader/issues/279 and affects the 3.14
release.

lsb_release -rd:
No LSB modules are available.
Description:    Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
Release:        24.04

Package version:
3.12-1ubuntu4

I expected lgogdownloader --download --game game_name --platform linux
--exclude extras to download the requested files.

What happened instead:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::length_error'
  what():  basic_string::_M_replace
Aborted (core dumped)

Workaround:
- use the latest codebase on github

** Affects: lgogdownloader (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
