Issue Identified: External Monitor Impact on NVIDIA Driver and Fan
Control

I've identified the issue. When I connect an external monitor via HDMI
(for video output) and USB (for power), it forces the NVIDIA driver to
handle the connection, which leads to a loss of fan control. Once the
fans kick in, even after unplugging the monitor and closing most active
processes, the fans continue to run at medium to high speed. This
happens even after 30 minutes, with only essential system processes
(like kernel tasks) running, and no significant load on the CPU or GPU.
