Public bug reported: I have been using logcheck for automatic even emails since at least Ubuntu 18.04 successfully. Recently I upgraded from Ubuntu 22.04 to Ubuntu 24.04, and ever since, I have a problem with long kernel messages. The message appears to be split into multiple lines in /var/log/syslog, and even worse so in the logcheck emails. I spent two hours to solve the problem with the help of Google, but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.
Here is a long message how it appears in /var/log/syslog: 2024-10-02T08:53:57.087694+02:00 decuman kernel: audit: type=1107 audit(1727852037.085:1619): pid=1909 uid=103 auid=4294967295 ses=4294967295 subj=unconfined msg='apparmor="DENIED" operation="dbus_signal" bus="system" path="/org/freedesktop/login1" interface="org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties" member="PropertiesChanged" name=":1.12" mask="receive" pid=2518011 label="snap.thunderbird.thunderbird" peer_pid=1955 peer_label="unconfined" 2024-10-02T08:53:57.087694+02:00 decuman kernel: exe="/usr/bin/dbus-daemon" sauid=103 hostname=? addr=? terminal=?'
