Hello, thanks for a quick fix Benjamin! Great that we caught this bug early, before it made it out of proposed.
I just tested it and can confirm that it works. My laptop has just rebooted successfully. This is the command I used to install the package: sudo apt-get install initramfs-tools=0.142ubuntu25.4 initramfs-tools-core=0.142ubuntu25.4 initramfs-tools-bin=0.142ubuntu25.4 I've also checked before the reboot that initrd image contains all the modules that were missing from the image generated with 0.142ubuntu25.3 version. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2081700 Title: Can't boot from encrypted volume after initramfs-tools=0.142ubuntu25.3 update To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs-tools/+bug/2081700/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
