As this is not supported by either GCC or Clang, we may have to begin 
supporting this incrementally. There is not yet an ABI defined for 16-bit 
floats that says how they are passed between functions. At this moment it would 
be good to know if these values are actually passed between functions in your 
test cases, or if they are only internal to the function they live in?
