Public bug reported: After resuming from suspending my laptop, i.e., opening my laptop, the docker is replaced with a recycling symbol. If I restart the gnome-shell with "alt-F2 r", I get a message about something has gone wrong, all my windows are gone, and the only option for me is to logout.
I expect that when I open my laptop's lid, that I be presented with a login prompt, and then resume the suspended session. % lsb_release -rd No LSB modules are available. Here's what follows after gnome-shell crashed, and I logged in again. I have attached the relevant (I hope) part of /var/log/syslog. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: after crash suspend-resume ** Attachment added: "/var/log/syslog" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2081602/+attachment/5820384/+files/syslog -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2081602 Title: gnome-shell dockManager is null To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2081602/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
