I just want it to work, i asked for nothing, ubuntu just broke after upgrade to 6.8.0-44, and i did no fancy installation, just use amdgpu-install years ago, and upgrade. The bug analyse shows that there is a change in one function call 3 arguments became 2, and cause 100 % compile error. - drm/mst: Fix NULL pointer dereference at drm_dp_add_payload_part2 Instead of arguing, just read the patch, or test it , 100% failure guaranteed. So there is a bug somewhere, or a mismatch in code versions because 3 will never be equal to 2, this will never compile. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2080823 Title: 6.8.0-44 breaks amdgpu-dkms 6.8.5 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/2080823/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
