I was having this problem under Mint 21.3 with kernel version 5.15.0-118 and so reverted to kernel version 5.15.0-117. I just upgraded to 5.15.0-121 and the problem is gone. I can once again suspend my Thinkpad T480s successfully. Thanks much for the fix.
