Public bug reported: Running through this testcase: https://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/461/builds/312970/testcases/1771/results
Unfortunately, it failed. With an offline installation, after reboot, the graphics resolution was way off, very zoomed in initially. nvidia-smi outputs: ``` NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running. ``` Interestingly enough, after another reboot, the resolution was appropriate. An nvidia driver *is* installed: nvidia-driver-550 However, perhaps it's not the appropriate driver for the graphics card. Logs and other info will be attached in a comment. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2080522 Title: UEFI secureboot nvidia installation fails to install appropriate driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/2080522/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
