Perhaps forgot the most important thing:
Grub2 in 24.04 does not work together with Grub 22.04. Therefore, the Boot
function is destroyed

One variant starts copying internally and runs out of disk space and crashes.
Here's the problem:
Ubuntu forgot to test 22.04.4 against a non UEFI pc. This is a big mistake and
affects everyone without UEFI.
Hope you change so users with 22.04 LTS and higher are not asked to upgrade to
24.04.4 without checking UEFI.
Otherwise they will have the same problem as me.
The solution for me was to reinstall 22.04.4 LTS, now everything is ok
