In my case, the installer allowed me to remove postgres-14 and complete
the upgrade. Then once running on 24.04 I wondered where my database had
gone. I found the new database postgres-16 on port 5433 but my data was
on the old cluster without a recent backup. The process is clear to me
now, but it wasn't clear enough during the installation to avoid the
bear trap.
