** Description changed: I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Pi-2515 laptop with a Intel HDA sound chip. The sound works but I can't mute the front laptop speakers when I'm trying to listen via hreadphones. I have no "headphones" switch in the Volume control app. And if I mute the "Front", the headphones are muted too. There's a "headhones" slide in volume control but it doesn't have no effect when changing the volume. + + System: + Ubuntu Hardy
